Background

Paymark, New Zealand’s largest payments provider, set out to relieve the pain of paper receipts for NZ businesses through their mobile app, Paypr. The challenge was to create the entire end-to-end customer experience from the ground up, including a name, logo, brand voice, visual identity and website that meshed with their core audience and new technology service.

Strategy

In partnership with online accounting service Xero, we set out to understand the target audience and the competitive landscape through various research techniques and interviews. It was clear that Paypr had an opportunity to be the most innovative and convenient solution in the market upon launch; an insight we carried through the branding and website design process.

Website

Designed for small business owners, their staff and accountants, paypr.co.nz needed to meet business goals first and foremost. To help convert browsers into buyers, we created an innovative visual identity and a simple storytelling hierarchy that catered for multiple paths to purchase and a memorable consumer experience. Site structure, user journeys and content are all carefully thought-through and curated to deliver on Paypr’s brand promise; less is more.
